You might not think “outdoors” when you hear the name Palace Skateboards, but they’re a brand many within the outdoors landscape could learn from.

Think of them as the outdoors unconventional muse.

But how are Palace Skateboards setting a different standard?

A combination of wild graphics, unconventional colour palettes and a “not-so-serious” approach to their marketing, allow them to set their own bar for within the outdoors scene.

They may not be your go-to for outdoors gear, but they kill it when it comes to seamlessly blending outdoor cultures into their brand.

From the likes of Rapha, Ar’teryx, Cannondale, Gore-Tex – Palace Skateboards is bridging the gap between the skatepark and the great outdoors, inspiring a newer generation of potential outdoors enthusiasts.

Palace’s disruptive approach shows us that when you break free from category norms and explore broader subcultures, you can uncover a whole new side of the outdoors.

So, while Palace Skateboards might not be your typical outdoors brand, they’re teaching us all a thing or two about embracing the unexpected.
