Here’s 5 x bits of culture to have caught our eye over the last week
Be sure to add these into your weekend itinerary:
1. Mega Airbnb: A petrolheads paradise! Little Talladega or Drift Mansion is an Airbnb with a unique set of surroundings…a fully usable race and off-road dirt tracks! But don’t worry, if you don’t fancy thrashing your car into the ground around the circuits, there’s access to go-karts, ATV’s and electric drift carts included IN the rental costs!
2. Festival: Kicking off from the 29th June and running until 16 July 2023, the Manchester International Festival returns this coming Thursday. Spread across venues and spaces across Manchester, MI13 is packed with events, performances and happenings from some of the world’s most exciting creative minds. A festival not to be missed if you ask us.
3. Magazine: Meantime Magazine, the odd shaped annual publication dedicated to documenting Singapore stories lost in time, all through the perspective of personal stories. Good luck arranging this one on your bookshelves!
4. Album: Queens of the Stone Age are back with their new album, a first since 2017. Titled ‘In Times New Roman…’ this ones for all you sludge loving rockers and grungers.
5. Exhibition: This one’s for all you Wes Anderson fans! This immersive exhibition by 180 Studios in London allows you to delve into the creative world of Wes Anderson. Transporting you directly into the director’s new film, Asteroid City. With props, costumes, original sets and much more on show we recommend getting a ticket booked for this one TICKET THIS WAY
