Here’s 5 x bits of culture to have caught our eye over the last week
Be sure to add these into your weekend itinerary:
1. Free Exhibition: If you’re London based or down that way over the weekend head over to Exhibition Road for a weekend of free events for all ages at the annual celebration of science and the arts at the annual Great Exhibition Road Festival.
2. Netflix: The Pez Outlaw. The incredible story of Steve Glew, a small-town Michigan man who set about smuggling rare Pez dispensers into the US. Much to the dismay of the US Pez corporations Pezident and Pez collectors alike.
3. Festival: Sneaker heads rejoice! Laces Out festival is back at Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre this Saturday. The largest celebration of sneakers, fashion and lifestyle in the UK outside of London, is not to be missed for collectors, lovers of sneakers or the curious types.
4. Resource: A fantastic resource for designers of all ages and levels. Studiographica is the home set up for some of the greatest design and branding studios who are sadly no longer with us.
5. Short Film: Fresh off the back of their new brand transformation, Channel 4 have delivered a MEGA short film unveiling the brand’s new series of idents. The film is packed full of amazing visuals combining live-action, animation and full CG films.
