Exhibition: Head out to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park over the weekend and check out some mega sculptures by Damien Hirst’.

Challenge: Think you’ve got what it takes to stand atop of all 3000ft Welsh peaks in 24 hours, using no transport? Well if that’s a yes the Welsh 3000s challenge is ready and waiting for you. You can choose any route and summit the mountains in any order, but to beat the record you’ve got to start on Snowdon. It’s also a challenge many tackle over 2 or 3 days so this one’s great for anyone looking for a weekend in the wild.

Film: The Yin & Yang of Gerry Lopez – Patagonia Films. A film that lifts the veil on one of surfing’s most enigmatic heroes. 

Space: Chemin des Carrières, the Quarries’ Track. Located in Rosheim, France, Chemin des Carrières is an 11km trail that undulates and laces into the landscape.It follows the route of the Rosheim-St Nabor railway, which was opened in 1902 to serve the quarries of Saint-Nabor, which sadly closed in 2002.
