“Nothing into Something”
Now that’s an ethos we can get behind.
And one which this week’s Creative Explorer has built a reputation on.
Introducing Jaimus Tailor.
The brainchild behind Greater Goods.
A London based design project dedicated to sustainability and the nature of upcycling.
They put a strong focus on creative, sustainable projects and collaborations that range from outdoor fashions to functional practical accessories.
And what’s ace is…
…each piece is created by upcycling reclaimed, damaged, unwanted
products or by using environmentally sustainable materials.
Jaimus and Greater Goods are not rewriting the rules of recycling or upcycling.
But they’re certainly showing us how to think much more radically about the creative possibilities of turning “nothing into something”.
And it’s something which hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Working on collaborative projects with the likes of Arc’teryx, Salomon, Osprey and Space Available to name a few.
Jaimus is actively inspiring and encouraging a community of upcyclers.
Whether that’s through an environmental project, brand workshop, charity auction or collaboration.
His passion to promote sustainability, creativity and radical approach to waste is something we’re big fans of.
