Spaces: ‘Activity Zone’ a striking multifunctional public space based in Chorzów, Poland. Designed by SLAS architects, this mega public space is packed with an array of colours, shapes, fun objects, play spaces and vibrancy. Activity Zone is a shining example of the possibilities of public space design –  fun, inclusive, colourful, enjoyable and much much more.

Music: Fresh off the back of performing at Sónar festival in Barcelona, Aphex Twin has announced the up and coming release of a new 4 track EP titled, ‘Blackbox Life Recorder 21f / in a room7 F760’. Due for release today, Friday 28th, via Warp Records, the EP is the first release of new music from the producer in a whopping 5 years!

Architecture: Located on the outskirts of the city of Surat, India, the ‘Surat Diamond Bourse’ is a whopping 660,000 square metre office building designed by Architecture studio Morphogenesis. Surpassing the Pentagon as the world’s largest office building, the mega structure was designed as a ‘city within a city’ to house the worlds’ largest community of diamond traders.!

A 328 page first hand account of her 2-year journey in the company of one of the graffiti world’s most infamous artists, Berlin-based 1UP crew and the Hamburg duo Moses & Taps. An amazing expo into the world of graffiti and the borders between legal and illegal and cities and urban policies. Available from Hitzerot.

Documentary Film: How can we be more inclusive? A question we get asked a lot by clients and something which the Dutch documentary “White Balls on Walls” by Sarah Vos explores. The documentary film captures the Stedelijk Museum’s quest for diversity, which they find easier said than done.
